4 Tips for a Healthy Week

I. Prioritize exercise & move your body for at least 45 minutes per day. If you know me, you know that working out is one of the best parts of my day. I workout for at least 45 minutes every single day. Working out makes me feel ALIVE and puts me in the BEST mood. It allows me to have time to myself and get myself ready for each day.  I always feel my best after I workout and my mind is in a healthy & positive place. I attached two of my favorite runs at the bottom of this page – if you try one, be sure to tag me on Instagram.

II. Drink plenty of water. I drink a gallon of water every day and I encourage you to stay hydrated and drink your water too. You will notice a huge difference in your life if you are hydrated. My skin glows, I have energy & I truly feel my best.

III. Fuel your body with whole, nutritious food. I do not count calories and I do not think it is a good use of my time / energy. I believe it is more important to prioritize the quality of the food I consume – whole, organic food & nourish my body with what it needs. I definitely eat dessert, treats, pizza & fries, but I do this on occasion. Listen to your body, focus on whole foods & nourish it properly. I do not deprive myself of anything, but I definitely feel my best & perform my best when I am consuming whole nutritious foods.

IV. Get plenty of rest & take time for self-care / self-reflection. We live in such a fast paced society, that often times we forget to slow down, relax & rest. On the weekends I try to catch up on sleep, get caught up & carve out time for self-care. My favorite forms of self-care; a facial, a manicure / pedicure, a massage, or simply laying in my bed and picking up a book. In the summer I love to sit on the back porch, lay in the sun & relax. Take care of yourself & know that it is okay to slow down & relax.
